Why Arabic?
Arabic is one of the world’s major languages. Spoken by over 200 million people worldwide, the language’s geographic scope is greater than almost any other. Arabic is the official language of countries from Iraq Morocco Africa , including Mali Mauritania Sudan United States
Aside from the obvious employment related benefits of studying Arabic, there are also students studying the language to gain a better understanding of their religion. Foreign Muslims seek to study Arabic to better allow them to read the Quran in its original form and to bring them closer to the founder of their faith.
Of course, there are always people who study the language for reasons you might not expect! Studying Arabic is an excellent opportunity to live in a foreign country, which is possibly very different from your own. Who are we
We represent a wealth of experience teaching foreigners students as a second language. All of our teachers have at least four years of teaching experience, however even more significant is the diversity of our experience. Our teachers have taught students from all corners of the world, and as a result, we know what works in teaching a student from East Asia may not work for a student from North America . In other words, we can tailor our teaching approaches to students from different parts of the world in ways we have learned are effective.
If your English is not strong, don’t worry, we have taught students who have a very limited capacity in English. In addition, we have experience teaching students from all levels, from beginners with no knowledge of experience, to students with several years of Arabic study to their credit .
Our highly varied experiences allow us to tailor our programs to meet the needs of students. Contrary to what you might think, there are many different “types” of Arabic that students can study.
Based on your needs, we can tailor our program to include materials addressing what you are interested in learning. For instance, many students are interested in studying “fusha”, or Modern Standard Arabic, the language of diplomacy and the media, understood across the Arabic speaking world.
Similarly, many students are interested in studying the local dialect in order to enable them to effectively communicate with Arabs. If your interest lies in Modern Standard Arabic, depending on your level of experience, students can start from the beginning, or launch right into learning advanced media language and terms.
